Send a personal letter to your legislators this year through . . .

FL SAND's "My Story" Project

It's easy! Tell your legislators about problems you're having with transportation and housing in an online form and the FL SAND Fellows will produce a letter and deliver it to your representatives on DD Day.

  • Click here to complete the form.

  • It's very important to upload a photo for your letter so have one you like ready.

  • You can complete a form sharing your message about transportation or housing or both.

  • The FL SAND Fellows and leaders will deliver letters to your legislators on Developmental Disabilities Awareness Day February 10 along with FL SAND's legislative priorities. We will also email you a copy of the letter.

  • The deadline to complete the form is February 1.

  • If you are on the iBudget waiver or waiting for iBudget waiver services, the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council would like you to also complete a form to let legislators know how important the waiver is in your life or why you need services. Please go to their website to complete that form.
